I’ve been playing a whole lot of Demon’s Souls since it launched last week and I agree with all of the reviewers out there. This game is unforgivingly hard as hell. That being said, the game is so unique in gameplay and it’s online connectivity, you would be short changing your self if you own a PS3 and/or your a western role playing gamer.
Now granted I really don’t like to enlist in promotions for free games or like to sign up for shit in order to get “a chance” to win a game. This promotion is safe secure and does not spam you with crap you don’t want.
With Tekken 6 arriving in stores for a 10.28.09 release date, I thought it would be nice to show you a portion of the game that will probably get little to no press.
Spanner Spencer over at the Pocketgamer.com website has a article concerning the need for dominance over all DLC content on each of the home consoles. I feel like this is the trend for the future and Apple was smart enough (or lucky) to give it a shot first.
Now before I continue we have to step back and admit the the home consoles are not really aiming for the same user base as the iPhone is.
That being considered, the console makers know a good thing when they see one. Why wouldn’t you want to have 24/7 access to your gaming needs? Personally, I love downloadable games. I don’t mean it in the sense that we should get rid of hard retail copies but the need for DLC is growing daily.
Gamers already are downloading millions of amount content and/or full games, so the trend only seems to be speeding up exponentially.
I really give it untill the next generation of hardware before DLC moves to the front of the spectrum.

Gamasutra expresses that Crytek is known for its technical excellence, and we also quizzed Yerli on his impressions of the differences between the two HD platforms. “I mean essentially the game we run is about the sam,” he said. “Probably one’s stronger on the GPU side, one’s stronger on the CPU side, so depending on what you’re doing where, the PS3 does perform here sometimes better, the 360 performs other things better, but overall by the time the game ships it’ll be absolutely the same.”
I had to put this up since it’s something that I have stating for years now.

Official Sony PSP Go! video leaked onto the internet like a wild fire.
Today I was looking around on the EU PSN Store and saw a game I didn’t see on the US Store.
The game is pretty good to at around 225MB the game is actually quite gorgeous. It is an UNREAL Engine game and sounds and plays a lot like UT3.
That is not a bad thing just to point out. Looks like a high quality last gen FPS but the game runs great and the frame rate is solid as well didn’t see any dips on visuals.

The team has been very quiet regarding details of our DLC until now, and we’re so excited to let this content loose. DLC Map Pack #1 is due out in March of ‘09 for the (read on)
